For Ubisoft's "Skull & Bones," BMD Design was commissioned to create an extensive collection of over 50 hand-painted illustrations — including pirate flag designs, Jolly Roger variants and crossbones ensigns. The core mission was to deliver absolute graphic authenticity, rooted in the dark and rugged world of 17th-century piracy.

Using traditional brushwork and ink, BMD Design (Bruno Michaud) developed a comprehensive library of pirate flag symbols, emblems, and complex graphic compositions. Every stroke was designed to reinforce the game's gritty atmosphere, blending historical heritage with modern gaming aesthetics.
